Patrick Carr represents clients in matters related to the taxation of businesses, business owners and investors. Before joining Williams Mullen, Patrick served as a business and private securities extern, where he drafted private placement memorandum for like-kind property exchanges valued up eighty million dollars.

During his third year of law school, Patrick was a volunteer at William & Mary’s Low Income Tax Clinic. While volunteering at the clinic, Patrick was responsible for interviewing clients, conducting relevant tax research and preparing tax filings. Patrick also served as a complex litigation extern where he drafted memoranda related to § 1983 litigation and provided research related to employer liability of offshore independent contractors.

Patrick earned his Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School and his Bachelor of Political Science, magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University.
