On Sept. 10, 2019, Bloomberg Law published an article written by Williams Mullen attorney Shane Smith on the Supreme Court of Virginia's recent decision on erroneous real estate assessments in McKee Foods Corp. v. County of Augusta.
"The Virginia Supreme Court recently issued a ruling on the 2011 amendment to the real estate assessment statute, indicating that the presumption of correctness of an assessment is not absolute."
