He is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest quality and ethics rating possible for an attorney.
Paul is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group. Drawing upon his many years of experience handling complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts throughout the country, he regularly represents and advises businesses and individuals in matters involving breach of contract, fraud, business conspiracy, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, covenants not to compete among others.
Paul has represented and advised local, regional and national banks, broker-dealers and real estate investment firms, along with their employees in connection with customer complaint arbitrations; broker employment disputes; “raiding and recruiting” litigation; and regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings before FINRA, NYSE, SEC, and the Virginia State Corporation Commission. He has also represented companies and individual officers in connection with several notable class action securities litigation matters.
In addition, Paul represents and advises insureds in insurance coverage disputes, and defends insurance agencies, agents and brokers in errors and omissions cases throughout the United States.
