Cindy is a skilled commercial real estate professional with extensive experience representing clients nationally through financing, acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, portfolio transactions, as well as title and survey matters.
Prior to joining KVCF, Cindy served as in-house counsel for several Fortune 500 companies where she originated loans on all property types including simple real estate loan transactions, complex capital-stack transactions, mezzanine loans and fund investments. Serving as in-house, Cindy developed business skills advising her clients regarding the development of lending strategies, and providing consultation and guidance regarding underwriting risk, loan servicing, and investment strategies.
Cindy has also served as National Commercial Counsel for two title insurance underwriters and has extensive experience underwriting titles for single and multisite loan, purchase and sale, and leasing transactions. In her position as national underwriting counsel, she advised clients regarding complex transactional issues, and the effect of deal structure on transaction costs.
Cindy is a Fellow with the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and has served on various committees, including serving as Chairman of the Corporate Counsel Committee for three years. She enjoys speaking at various ACMA conferences and serves on panels as a subject matter expert.
In her spare time, Cindy enjoys cooking and baking and aspires to open a bakery in retirement.
