John is an Associate with KVCF, where his practice focuses on securities offerings, corporate finance, ongoing securities law compliance, and other corporate matters.
John brings experience advising broker-dealers, investment advisers, and other financial services companies with respect to sales practice and compliance issues. He has also defended financial services professionals in various investment-related disputes before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) and state courts.
Before joining the firm, John began his career in the litigation and dispute resolution group of an international law firm in Washington, DC, focusing on regulatory enforcement proceedings. More recently, he worked at a boutique Richmond litigation firm, defending financial services companies in arbitration and litigation.
When not working, John enjoys cycling the Capital Trail from Richmond, VA to Jamestown, VA, and cheering on the 2019 national champion University of Virginia men’s basketball team (his alma mater).
