Rob has spent his legal career representing all parties involved in commercial real estate transactions. Rob serves as outside real estate counsel for a national entertainment company, closing numerous acquisitions and dispositions, as well as sale-leaseback and ground lease deals, throughout the United States.
Rob has extensive experience working for real estate syndicators and real estate investment trusts, handling office, apartment complex and shopping center purchases and sales. Rob has also negotiated on behalf of clients numerous CMBS, life insurance, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD loans and loan documents. Rob has also assisted clients with 1031 exchanges, both forward and reverse, as well as development-related issues such as reciprocal easement agreements, property management agreements and telecommunications leases.
Before going to law school, Rob worked in title insurance, introducing him to the complex and dynamic world of commercial real estate. When not assisting clients with their commercial real estate needs, Rob enjoys running, cheering for The University of Richmond (his alma mater) and spending time with his family.
