He has experience working with both large and small companies in protecting a wide variety of technologies through patent and trademark procurement, patent and trademark portfolio management and licensing.

He has experience working with both large and small companies in protecting a wide variety of technologies through patent and trademark procurement, patent and trademark portfolio management and licensing.

Mike is a member of the North Carolina bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Licensing Executives Society. In 2014, Mike was named the Best Lawyers® Litigation Patent “Lawyer of the Year” in Raleigh. Mike received his Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University.
