Jack previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Roderick C. Young in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. During his clerkship, he drafted judicial opinions and prepared memoranda for various hearings before Judge Young.

Jack received his Juris Doctor degree from University of Richmond School of Law, where he was an articles editor for the Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
