Veronica began her legal career with Williams Mullen in 2019. She rejoined the firm in March 2022 after serving as associate legal counsel for CATO SMS, a contract research organization headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, where she negotiated commercial contracts and offered advice to internal stakeholders by identifying and analyzing issues relating to a broad range of subjects including domestic and international employment, commercial real estate, data protection and general corporate matters.

Veronica earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she graduated with high honors and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She was also a member of the North Carolina Law Review, served on the UNC Law Pro Bono Board and was an Honors Writing Scholar. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from American University.
